It’s warming up. Summer is well and truly here and everyone is gearing up for Christmas holidays – which means surf and sun for many.
We don’t run our Light to Light Walk tours in January. Why not?
- it’s hot. And most of our guests are not keen to walk in hot weather;
- snakes. Most of our guests are not keen to meet one;
- people. Too many of them for our liking. On the Light to Light Walk, in the campsites, on the road, at the beaches. Our guests tell us they like the feeling of being the only ones on the track.
- Water. Or lack of it. Lots of campers means less – or worse – no water in the tanks. Even though we provide all the drinking water for our guests, it’s not nice to visit the toilet and find no water in the tap.
Meanwhile, our sister business Kiah Wilderness Tours is flat out with kayak tours on the beautiful river we live alongside. Water sports are definitely the go in Summer!
We’re taking bookings for Light to Light Walk tours from the beginning of February 2019 – book online or contact us if you have any queries.
