Saltwater Creek campground - Light to Light Walk, Green Cape NSW 2551, Australia

Day #1: Boyds Tower to Saltwater Creek (13.7km)

You'll meet us at our place (11.67km south of Eden) on the road to the National Park. Leave your car and we'll transfer you and your day pack to the start of the Light to Light Walk at Boyd's Tower. You'll see some amazing coastline along this section of track and arrive at a fully set up luxury camp at Saltwater Creek by about mid afternoon. Put your feet up and rest those weary legs, have a hot shower before settling in by the roaring campfire and enjoying a hearty meal and drinks before hitting the sack.

Day #2: Saltwater Creek to Green Cape Lighthouse (17.3km)

We'll get you up nice and early so you can get on the track by about 8am. You'll see so much diversity on this part of the track - dramatic red rock along the coastline, beautiful ferny gullies, tall eucalypt forests, pretty creeks and open heathland. You'll be pretty tired by the time you reach the magnificent Green Cape where you'll be able to take the weight off your legs while we transport you home to pick up your car.  You'll finish this tour feeling a real sense of achievement - and with weary legs!

We'll organise this with your group well before the tour. You'll either drive to our place at Kiah and leave your vehicle or we'll pre-arrange to pick you up in Eden.

As above, if we've picked you up from Eden, we'll make sure you get back in time for dinner - or a ride home.

  • Walking shoes or boots – preferably worn in for comfort. Your old worn-in runners are likely to be more comfortable than a brand-new pair of walking shoes!
  • A camera, smart phone or some other device to take photos.
  • T-shirt and long-sleeved top. Go for quick-drying fabrics such as lightweight merino, which keep you cool and dry, but is also a very effective barrier against the cold.  Layers are the best.
  • Walking pants – preferably those with zip-off legs (and/or shorts). Jeans are not suitable.
  • Sunhat or cap, beanie and gloves for cool nights, walking socks, and comfy soft shoes for around the camp. These can be your ugg boots, slippers - whatever is comfortable. Remember you'll be in and out of a tent though!
  • A warm coat for cooler weather. Choose merino or polar fleece if possible.
  • Gore-Tex or similar raincoat.

Remember, you only carry a light daypack with snacks, water and bare necessities - we carry and set up all the camping gear!
