This is no ordinary hike. Such a clever balance of being amongst natural beauty and enjoying comforts.

One minute you are on a beautiful remote beach watching the whales, the next minute you are having lunch sharing a cliff top with kangaroos. Then you are offered red, white wine or prosecco after a day’s hike at the pop up camp site.

And did I say their local knowledge is second to none? Ended the hike feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.

There’s something supremely decadent about lounging in a deck chair and wiping your brow with a lemongrass–infused warm face washer while your host hands you a platter of scrumptious hors d’oeuvres accompanied by a cleansing ale.

Heck, you’d struggle to receive this sort of treatment at a five star city hotel, let alone at a remote campground on the Wilderness Coast.

Pampered is not usually a word associated with camping but that’s exactly what this is.

Although only a few months into their joint venture, the Robbs’ Light to Light Camps are destined to become one of our region’s iconic outdoor experiences.

This walk with Light to Light Camps was one of the most enjoyable 3 days ever!

Jenny and Arthur left no stone unturned to ensure our very need was taken care of – from the cold, lemongrass-infused face towels to greet us as we arrived hot and tired into the camp site, comfortable beds, hot showers, delicious food and wine.

It really was like a 5 star hotel experience in the wilderness!

We were impressed with Light to Light Camps from the word go. The attention to detail was very impressive without swamping us.

This is truly one of the hidden gems in Australia.

The camp was also amazing – you have a great setup with such comfortable beds and campfire seats. The meals were excellent and the food supply seemingly endless.

And of course what a bonus it was to have a hot shower before dinner. Now that is camping!

We would recommend this tour for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. A truly wonderful experience.

Kerry and Des Cleary

Excellent scenery, hosts, food.

The wildlife was fabulous and we saw the coast at its best on our first day – the true sapphire!

An experience that would be hard to beat. Highly recommended.
